International Student Affairs Study Tour
Location to be announced
Core Competencies: Intercultural Proficiency, Leadership
Join other members of the higher education community including graduate students, faculty, and staff at the International Student Affairs Study Tour. Cosponsored by five Council of Higher Education Management Associations (CHEMA) member associations including NIRSA, the 2015 Student Affairs Study Tour offers a unique and exclusive occasion to engage in active collegial collaboration at the international level.
If your institution is looking to expand their efforts in international collaboration, this is a must-attend event. With stops in various cities, this study tour will provide an intimate, focused look at important historical, philosophical, and structural commonalities and differences in student affairs as organized and practiced in the United States and the host country. It will emphasize ways in which student affairs professionals and faculty members in both countries can assist each other in developing student affairs programs and services that most effectively address the needs of their student populations within the context of their own cultures and systems of higher education.
Participation will be limited to the first 50 registrants.
