Editorial review

The RSJ Editorial Board has 18 NIRSA members, serving staggered three-year terms, who review articles as assigned by the editor. The Board is responsible for ensuring the RSJ remains a relevant source of empirical, theoretical, and applied research to the field of collegiate recreation.

Author recognition

The NIRSA Recreational Sports Journal Award is a way for the RSJ Editorial Board to recognize authors who have written particularly engaging or relevant articles, which have been published in the journal. Winners are acknowledged with a handsome plaque during the awards ceremony at the NIRSA Annual Conference, and will receive a $300 cash award.
