Region III Student Representative
Greetings! My name is Ashley Donaldson and I am currently a second year Graduate Assistant for Informal Sports at Indiana University. I am honored to be serving Region III as this year’s Student Representative and I promise to do all I can to make sure it’s a great one.
This website should be used as the information hub for all students in Region III. In addition, Region III as has a Facebook group in which you are welcomed and encouraged to a part of. Search NIRSA Region III to find it or click here.
New this year! The Region III Student Rep Blog, which you can check out at http://nirsaregioniii.blogspot.com/. This blog will serve as another outlet for students to get information and find out about events throughout the region. I’ll also be documenting my specific travels to events throughout the region, so be sure to check it out!
Remember, that there are always opportunities for you to get involved within NIRSA and I strongly urge you to do so. From volunteering at a conference to serving as a campus contact, these opportunities will allow you to interact with other students and have fun at the same time!
Hopefully, all of you are looking forward to a great year in Region III. Please be sure to check below for information on upcoming events, how to get involved, and awards and scholarships. As always, should you ever have any questions or concerns , please feel free to contact me.

Region III Student Lead On: Discover. Inspire. Grow. Do you DIG?
What is Lead On?
The Region III Student Lead On, unlike other events, is a conference planned and led by students for students. A combination of approximately 300 students and professionals generally attend the event, but focus of the conference is placed on the students. This year’s theme: Discover. Inspire. Grow. is truly focused on the growth of students into young professionals. If you've never attended a conference before, this a great one to be your first!
Please check out the information that follows on how to get involved, how to become a presenter at the conference, and how to find out more information about this event.
How can I get involved?
Be a volunteer! Whether you would be interested in being a session monitor, helping with registration, or scorekeeping, this event offers a great opportunity for you to help out and no experience is necessary. Please contact Jenn Kadish if you would like to find out more information about volunteer opportunities.
Who can I contact about presenting at the Region III Student Lead On?
Students are absolutely encouraged to present at the conference. Because this conference has a large student population who attends, it can often create an environment which is less stressful and more comfortable for students to present. If you would like information on what it takes to create a presentation proposal or have any general questions about presentations, please contact Mallory Price and Emilie Saltz.
How can I find out more information?
Want to find out more? Please contact Sean Finley with any questions.
