Region I Student Representative
Hi everybody! My name is Bryan Van Vliet and I am your Region I Student Representative. Currently, I am a student at the University at Buffalo, part of the State University of New York system. This will be my seventh year working for R&I Services (at UB) and I currently am an Assistant Site Coordinator for our CPR program and working extensively in with our sport clubs. For those of you who already know me, you know I have a passion for this field and I look to do great things this year.
One of the ways we can be successful, both in our Region and in NIRSA in general is to increase our levels of communication and to seek input from others. I encourage any of you with ideas or suggestions to email them to me as soon as you can. Its easy to submerse ourselves in work once the school year starts, but even a five minute email can go a long way!
We have one of the greatest regions in all of NIRSA, and I want you to know I will do everything I can to continue our strong tradition of excellence. I look forward to seeing you all at one of the many conferences or workshops that take place during the year, and if you have any questions about any of the events, please contact me and I’ll do everything I can to help you out.
