Getting Involved

We are always in need of students to step up and get involved. There are various positions a student can serve.  

Our front line students are the Campus Contacts for each school and university. Campus Contacts disseminate information to their school from the Student Leadership Team (SLT), and communicate back to the SLT any upcoming events, questions or concerns.  

Starting in 2010, Student Members will have leadership opportunities to serve on the Member Network under the new NIRSA governance structure. Read more about available positions here.

If you're still unsure about the level of involvement these positions require, feel free to contact me and ask! The other SLT members can be contacted as well and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Remember, students are why NIRSA was founded in the first place, let's do our best to continue its great traditions!
