NIRSA Campus Contact Program
The Student Leadership Team continues to grow this year with the official roll out of the Campus Contact Program. We are proud, pleased, and excited to introduce 50 new positions and opportunities to take an active role in your organization: NIRSA!
The goal:
The goal of the Campus Contact Program is to secure a student representative at each NIRSA Member Institution to whom the National, Regional, and State Student Representatives can filter information on the promotion of NIRSA on his or her respective campus. Separate from State Student Representatives, Campus Contacts would be the NIRSA liaison for their institution only, promoting membership and involvement throughout their campus.
How the Campus Contact Program will work:
Just as the National Student Representative sends information to the Regional Student Representatives, and they pass it along to the State Student Representatives, the State Student Representatives will deliver information to the Campus Contacts. From here, the Campus Contacts will distribute the information to current and potential NIRSA Student Members at their institution.
Materials:
The Student Leadership Team will provide the Campus Contacts with the information and promotional materials required to fulfill their role. Materials will include a poster, a membership handout, materials highlighting specific events and a PowerPoint presentation, available on the Web, that present the organization and Member benefits.
The success of the Campus Contact program is dependent upon interested Student Members STEPPING UP and assuming a leadership position in the organization. This is an excellent opportunity to invest in your professional development and enhance your marketability. Interested individuals should contact their State or Regional Student Representative.
Role & Responsibilities:
The Campus Contact plays an important role in the success of the student membership within NIRSA. The Campus Contact helps the Student Leadership Team accomplish their goals and the goals of their respective Regional Student Rep. Separate from the State Student Representative position, Campus Contacts are the liaison for their institution only.
