AE NCCS National Volleyball Championships
FAQ
The Basics
When and where are the next volleyball championships?
What are the registration fees for 2010?
Registration is $895 for NIRSA Institutional Members and $1305 for non-NIRSA Institutional Members. Almost all schools with a club volleyball program are NIRSA Institutional Members. If you are unsure, call 541-766-8211 to check. We are very pleased that 2010 registration fees will be lower, thanks to the support of our title sponsor, American Eagle Outfitters.
Do I have to pay a league fee to participate in the AE NCCS National Volleyball Championships?
No. The stated registration fee is all you pay.
Can I play in a league and still compete in the AE NCCS National Volleyball Championships?
Yes. NIRSA encourages teams to participate in a league to play more games and sharpen skills. As in past years, teams can then compete for the national title at the AE NCCS National Volleyball Championships.
Does NIRSA limit the number of teams that can participate each year?
The number of teams that the NCCS National Volleyball Championships has accepted has not only grown each year, but has also exceeded the number of teams originally planned for in each of the past three years. This has been done while maintaining the high level of quality that is a hallmark of NCCS events in terms of organization and competition.
2007 - planned for 230 teams; expanded to 240 teams
2008 - planned for 232 teams; expanded to 260 teams
2009 - planned for 244 teams; expanded to 296 teams
