Tournament Schedule (PDF Version) - The tournament schedule is now available. Any changes to this schedule will be updated and provided to you onsite in Phoenix. Games start at 8:00am on Thursday morning. All teams will play 2 matches on Thursday and at least one match on Friday. The top qualifiers in each pool (varies depending on the division) will advance to playoffs on Friday, and winners will advance to semi-finals and finals on Saturday. Men's and Women's OPEN Championship will begin at 1 pm on Saturday, Women's CHAMPIONSHIP at 3 pm and Men's CHAMPIONSHIP at 5 pm.

Championship Division Registration and to Complete Roster

Tournament Information

The Arizona State University Recreation Department and Phoenix Regional Sports Commission will host the 18th Annual NIRSA NCCS National Soccer Championships, November 17-19, 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona. Play will be at the Reach 11 Sports Complex with all fields in this location. This year 24 men's and 24 women's teams will be invited/qualify to participate in the Championship Divisions. The Open Division is open to teams on a first-come, first-served basis (limit of 16 men's and 16 women's), with NIRSA Institutional Members receiving priority entry into the division until October 11, 2011. 

Online registration will begin on September 28. Entry fee, team rep contact information and team roster information for one player will be the only items needed for the initial sign-up (registration is not complete until we have entry fee payment). Teams will be able to change roster up until October 28. After this date roster will be frozen and changes can only be made with approved from tournament director (Valerie McCutchan Valerie@nirsa.org). Enrollment verification forms will be sent via email to team reps by November 2. This form will need all participants' signatures, and also be signed by Sport Club Director and the University Registrar.

Important Dates:

9/28/11 - Entries for Open Division accepted at the NIRSA National Center via online registration
10/28/11 - Last day to make roster changes without a fee for Open Division teams.
10/31 - 11/01/11 - Invitations for at-large bids for the Championship Division -
NIRSA recommends that teams don't purchase plane tickets until entry acceptance is confirmed.
11/02/11- Accepted team receive Player Certification form - has to be signed by participants, the sport club director and school's registrar after verification of enrollment.
11/04/11 - Last day to make roster changes without a fee for Championship Division teams.
11/16/11 - Practice (2 pm to 7 pm) - Reach 11 Soccer Complex; check-in (5-7 pm), coaches meeting (7 pm) - Embassy Suites
11/17/11 - Pool Play - Reach 11 Soccer Complex
11/18/11 - Pool Play and Single Elimination rounds - Reach 11 Soccer Complex
11/19/11 - Semi-finals and finals for all divisions (1 pm Final Men’s and Women’s Open; 3 pm Final Women's Championship; 5 pm Final Men's Championship)

Entry fees:
Institutional Member - $1,090
Non-Member - $1,490

Regional coordinators will be posting scores weekly on the NIRSA website and ranking the top 10 teams in their regions. Please be sure to contact and report weekly scores to your regional coordinator to make sure your team is being considered for at-large Championship Division bids!

NIRSA Soccer Regional Qualification Opportunities:

**Note** All regions will receive three (3) automatic bids for the Men's Championship Division and three (3) automatic bids for the Women's Championship Division. There will also be 6 "at-large" bids for both Men's and Women's Championship Division. Qualification Opportunities
