Professional

I have been at the University of Illinois at Chicago since 1986. Currently as the Associate Director of Campus Recreation, I was promoted from Assistant Director in 2000. Prior to this position, I was the first full-time Intramural Sports Director at Loyola University Chicago, beginning in 1982.

I was also the IIRSA State Director from 1999 - 2001.

Personal

Married to Chris since 1981. We have two great daughters. Allison is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and now teaches kindergarten in Lake Bluff, at the same school building that I went to kindergarten. Michelle goes to the University of Kentucky and is pursuing a double major in Kinesiology and Health Promotion. We live in Libertyville, a suburb about 40 miles north of UIC and downtown Chicago.

Did you know...

I have about a dozen nicknames.
Stellar thought for the day
YOLO: You Only Live Once.
It is my philosophy of life. I try to experience as much as possible, it's a great way to
learn (and have fun).
