NIRSA is excited to expand the number and scope of educational opportunities we offer our members, as well as explore alternative delivery mechanisms. In NIRSA's 2007 Comprehensive Member Survey, respondents were in high agreement that NIRSA should pursue training modules that utilize the internet.

A webinar is an interactive "live" web conference where information is conveyed according to an agenda, with a starting and ending time. In most cases, the presenter may speak over a standard telephone line, pointing out information being presented on screen, and participants can respond over their own telephones, preferably a speakerphone.

Pricing for webinars will vary depending on the content, speakers, and technology used. Note that the prices are for one screen/phone combination, whether accessed by one person alone at a desk or a group gathered in a conference room.
