About the Presenter
Angela Corcoran is the Director of Education for the Cybex Research Institute and is the Founder and Principle Educator of Corcoran Fitness, an organization whose mission it is to provide the most up to date evidence-driven exercise education to Fitness Professionals and Healthcare Providers. Angela earned her BA in Exercise Science from Rutgers University and graduated with Honors from Brooklyn College with a Masters in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation. She returned to academics as a
professor of Applied Physiology at Queens College teaching both undergraduate and graduate level courses. She is in the process of completing two books, Adventures in Exercise: 101 Fun Tips to Teach Children the Art of Exercise and Exercise throughout the Lifespan: Keeping America Moving at Any Age. She is a health writer for the Epoch Times, LIVESTRONG and Demand Media and has been featured in am New York, Self, Cooking Light, Real Simple, the NY Times, Women's Health, the IDEA Fitness Journal and many more.
