This symposium provides an opportunity for directors to compare our current aquatic programs & operations to other successful models & aquatic leaders in the country. While I gained more insight into ways to manage our aquatic facility, programs & staff better, this symposium confirmed many of my beliefs that we are operationally consistent & good risk managers on our campus. Thanks to the Program Committee & the presenters for their work!

The Aquatic Institute was a GREAT experience. This was the first time in several years when I have come back from a conference with tons of new ideas to implement and had fun in the process.
Allison Zuchowski (2003 attendee)
The Aquatic Institute was the most valuable conference I have attended in my 18 year Aquatic Career. The educational sessions were outstanding, but most of all, the sense of community amongst the conference participants was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this Institute to any Aquatic Professional, there is something for everyone.
Jodi Jensen (2005 attendee)
As more and more universities build new aquatic facilities, it is great to have the Institute as a place where aquatics professionals can come and learn from each other. The support that the NIRSA and its members have shown for aquatics continues to grow and the Institute is a highlight for all of us!
Linda McKee (2005 attendee)
I found the institute a valuable learning experience. As a professional member who has little aquatics experience, the institute was a perfect starting point for the development of an aquatics program at my University.
Bill Crockett (2005 attendee)
The Aquatics Institute was a great opportunity to focus strictly on aquatic issues pertaining to educational facilities. Having the ability to network with colleagues from across North America is hands down the greatest benefit from attending the institute.
Gabor Jerkovits (2007 attendee)
Before the Aquatics Institute I already had a passion for aquatics, and meeting professional colleagues with the same passion really intensified my passion and desire to achieve great things for my institute.

I thoroughly enjoyed this year's institute in Portland. The AFO course was extremely informative and educational, and I gained an incredible amount of knowledge. All of the people (attendees, speakers, presenters, etc...) were consistently friendly and helpful; Portland was a great host!
