Take a trip to three difference facilities at various stages of development/operation:
STUDENT RECREATION CENTER AT CAL STATE FULLERTON - This 95,000-square-foot facility opened in March 2008. Tour the facility and learn how the project achieved LEED Gold for New Construction and attracted 21,000 student members in its first year of operation on this commuter campus with just 800 on-campus residents!
UC IRVINE ANTEATER RECREATION CENTER - The original 90,000-square-foot "ARC" has been open for ten years and has gone through two expansions: adding 21 acres of sports fields; and a 25,000-square-foot indoor expansion including a demonstration kitchen, wellness testing room, child care room, and secondary 10,000-square-foot weight room. This facility has state-of-the-art LCD room management and marketing screens, smart meeting rooms, and biometric technology. Attendees will experience the demonstration kitchen firsthand with a lunch made on-site.
CAL STATE LONG BEACH - Currently under construction, the last facility visited will be a hard-hat tour of the Recreation Center at CSLB.
