NIRSA encourages all 2010 NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Exposition attendees and exhibitors to reserve their hotel accommodations within the NIRSA room block. NIRSA relies on strong room block usage to secure ample conference meeting space, increase negotiation leverage for future conferences, and offset Annual Conference expenses.

Educational sessions, business meetings and the NIRSA Foundation Career Opportunities Center, (presented by Star Trac) will be held at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel. The Recreational Sports Expo will be held in the Anaheim Convention Center.
NEW! HOTEL RESERVATIONS: In order to secure your hotel reservations you will first need to register for the NIRSA Annual Conference, either online or by fax or mail. Once you have completed registration you will be given a personal link to the housing bureau where you will be able to make your reservation. A valid credit card is required to secure your hotel reservation. If you need to make a name change to your room reservation, please access your personal
link and follow the steps online. You will only be able to make a name change up to April 1, 2010.
NEW! CANCELLATION POLICY: In order to help ensure room availability for all attendees and to minimize attrition penalties to the association a new cancellation policy is in effect. Reservation cancellations will be accepted without penalty through February 1, 2010. On February 2, 2010 a nonrefundable deposit in the amount of one nights rooms and tax will be charged to the credit card on file. All reservations booked after February 2, 2010 will have the nonrefundable deposit charged at the time of booking.

Anaheim Convention Center parking fee: $10 daily.

Orange County/John Wayne, 15 miles away: bus $14, taxi $35 one-way
LAX, 35 miles away: bus $19, taxi $85 one-way
Long Beach, 20 miles away: taxi $45 one-way
AMERICAN AIRLINES is our preferred airline and have offered NIRSA 5% discounts on ANY applicable airfare on www.aa.com. Discounts are available on American Airlines, American Eagle, American Connection, and all oneworld Alliance carriers as long as one segment is on American.
Reservations can be made online at www.aa.com. Go directly to www.aa.com to book your flights. Enter the promotional code, 8340AU, in the promotional code box under the "book flights" tab or "enter passenger data" tab while making your reservation. Discount will automatically be calculated. Discount is valid April 16 thru Apr 27, 2010. There is no fee on www.aa.com.
Reservations may also be made by calling the American Airlines Meeting Services Desk toll free at 1-800-433-1790 from anywhere in the US or Canada, 5am to 12am CST seven days a week. Give them your promotional discount code, 8340AU. There is a reservation service fee, currently $20, for tickets issued through this desk.
