At the heart of the 2012 NIRSA Annual Conference are the more than 140 educational sessions spread across 24 different tracks, covering all eight of the core competencies in the field of collegiate recreational sports.
Whether you are a student just starting out in campus recreation, a graduate assistant or young professional gaining expertise in a specialized field area, or an executive-level professional looking for the latest trends in programming or facilities, there is sure to be an educational session for you.
There is no better place to gain exposure to best practices, and hear stories of successes, and even failures, experienced by dedicated colleagues from other institutions big and small. At the NIRSA Annual Conference, you will hear from leaders of the recreational sports field and network with 2,000 colleagues, all while earning credit for professional development! Most educational sessions qualify for Continuing Educational Units (CEUs) or Continuing Educational Credits (CECs) that can be applied toward application to the NIRSA Registry of Collegiate Recreational Sports Professionals (RCRSP).
If you have additional questions about the educational sessions at the 2012 NIRSA Annual Conference, please contact the NIRSA Director of Professional Development, Cheri Christenson.
