The COC enables potential programs and employers to meet personally with committed candidates seeking Graduate Assistantships or full-time positions. Be part of the 2012 COC and meet the needs of your campus community.
1. Register as a COC Employer when you register for the NIRSA Annual Conference.
Register online by February 15, 2012 for the best pricing. Institutional Members also receive additional discounts. See complete details on the conference registration pricing page. Only one person from each institution needs to register as the employer. The person who registers as your institution's employer can create multiple "position" folders on-site for your institution. The COC employer registration fee includes:
COC Employer Mailbox
The primary means for candidates to apply for your job(s) on-site.
One (1) complimentary 60-day posting on BluefishJobs.com
Once your register as a COC Employer, you will be emailed a "promo code" to use when you post your position on BluefishJobs.com. This promo code will expire on April 1, 2012, and is good for 1 complimentary 60-day posting/employer.
Interview Booth Access
Interview candidates on-site! There is no extra charge to use the interview booths, but you must sign-up to use the rooms at the COC. The rooms are reserved in one hour blocks for each day. Interview booths are not accessible during times the COC is closed.
Access to Presentation Rooms (fee based)
If you wish to make a presentation to potential candidates on your employment opportunities, you can reserve a presentation room for a nominal fee. Presentation rooms are available in both half-hour and one-hour time slots, and are only available to registered COC Employers.
2. Check In
After checking in at the Conference Registration area and receive your name badge, come to the COC to check in and activate your employer account.
3. Checking Your Mailbox
COC employers will need to show their conference name badge to check COC mailboxes. The person who registered the mailbox will be provided with name badge stickers to give to other colleagues who would also like access the mailbox. NIRSA recommends that you check your mailbox a few times each day. Be aware the COC is not open all day, each day. Mailboxes are not accessible during times the COC is closed.
We will be offering free wi-fi in the COC, so be sure to bring your laptop!
