Since 2010

As the NIRSA National Center Intern, Jessi is involved in a wide variety of Association priorities, with a focus in the Marketing area. Jessi is taking the lead on several significant projects, including those related to the Career Opportunities Center, NCCS marketing, Governance transition and Student Member communications, the Professional Registry, and federal health and wellness grants.

Jessi is a Recreation Administration graduate student at the University of Tennessee and the 2009-2010 Tennessee State Student Representative. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Parks and Recreation Management from Western Carolina University. Jessi spends her free time enjoying the outdoors through such activities as hiking, backpacking, cycling, mountain biking, climbing/bouldering, and kayaking.  She can often be found attending music festivals or adventure sport races, as well as assisting with environmental preservation, conservation, and education efforts.  She loves seeing folks get stoked about parks and recreation and their desire to keep coming back for more.
