Pam currently serves as the Interim Executive Director of the Association and is responsible for managing the NIRSA National Center (NNC) staff team, NNC operations, and the Association's finances. She serves the NIRSA Board of Directors, as well as the boards of the NIRSA Foundation and the NIRSA Services Corporation.
Pam started her career as an accountant and CPA, working with both private and public accounting firms in the Seattle area. She has worked with a variety of organizations including large international corporations, family-owned businesses, and not-for-profits most of which experienced significant organizational change of one type or another during her tenure, though she claims not to have been the instigator of change. Pam initially began her career with the Association in 2000 and has held several different titles and filled a number of roles over the
years, serving primarily as NIRSA’s second in command during that time.
She spends most of her free time with her wonderful family: husband Derek, son Ryan, and daughter Anna. They are all avid bikers, swimmers, and snow skiers. Pam vacations with extended family (parents, siblings, and nieces) every summer and is blessed to have a husband who enjoys spending time with her extended family as much as she does.
