National Student Representative
My name is Beth Johnson and I am currently serving as the 2009-2010 National Student Representative. My path began with my undergraduate work at The University of Texas at Austin where I studied Psychology and worked for the Division of Recreational Sports for nearly four years in Facility Operations and Sport Clubs. During the 2008 NIRSA Annual Conference in Austin, I interviewed and accepted a graduate assistant position for Club Sports and Outdoor Facilities at the University
of Georgia. I am currently completing an internship in Facilities and Events with UCLA Recreation, studying Educational Administration and Policy in order to complete my Masters degree, and have taken on larger roles in NIRSA with work on ERSL and various NIRSA committees. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about NIRSA or about my experiences in the association and as a graduate assistant.

Student Leadership Team 2009-2010
The Student Leadership Team (SLT) for 2009-2010 is excited and eager to serve our membership. Currently, the team is working to set valuable goals and objectives that will support the needs of our student members as we transition into our new governance model. The SLT is comprised of a Regional Student Representative from each of the six regions and one National Student Representative. Each team member was elected by other students at the Annual Conference to represent and serve the entire student
membership. Together, the team works diligently for you as student members, to have the best educational, networking, and professional development opportunities possible. Please contact any of the team members for information or any questions about NIRSA and all of the NIRSA membership benefits!
